Trinda Dunlap

Trinda Dunlap, or "Panda" as she was known to those who were lucky enough to earn her friendship, was a spirited force of nature. Born in Littleton, CO, on the 24th of September, 1993, she leapt into the world and never stopped moving. Trinda was the kind of person who made every day an adventure, whether she was telling jokes, skateboarding, or working on cars. Her charisma and humor lit up every room she entered. In the words of Mark Twain, "She was lightning in a bottle, a combination of energy, humor, and charisma that was impossible to ignore."

In her 31 years, Trinda accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. She served her country with distinction, earning the Airborne, army commendation medal, army achievement medal, army good conduct medal, national defense medal, overseas service ribbon, parachutist badge, and driver and mechanical badge. But it wasn't the awards that defined her. It was her adventurous spirit, her love for her family (by blood and by choice), and her belief that she never met a stranger, only a friend in waiting. As the saying goes, "A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet." Trinda lived this every day.

Trinda is survived by many loved ones, from parents to siblings, the family she was born into and the multiple family members she chose. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and a life well-lived. A viewing will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1450 Airport Boulevard, Aurora, Colorado, 80011 on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00am MDT, followed by a celebration of her life at 12:00pm MDT, and a reception and fellowship at 1:00pm MDT. Come share stories, laugh, cry, and remember this remarkable woman.
