Nancy Ann McDonough-Harmening went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 18, 2023, while crossing the street to attend evening mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Nancy was born on November 13, 1952 to her parents Joseph Vincent and Ella Frances McDonough.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bob Harmening. Nancy is survived by her siblings, Mary Frances McDonough and J.C. McDonough; her niece, Abby Coltrane, and nephews, Jamie and Joe McDonough.
Nancy was strong in her faith and loved God, her family, church family, dear friends, and pets throughout the years.
Nancy was a banquet server at DoubleTree by Hilton for 17 years. She loved her job, her coworkers, and the thousands of people that she served.
Nancy had a heart of gold and would help and do anything for family, friends, and even strangers.
May Nancy’s soul rest in eternal peace and may the peace of the Lord be with her always. May we take inspiration from the loving and remarkable person Nancy was as we go forward in life.

Nancy had a sweet soul mixed with a little onriness! I remember her bringing candy to Roosevelt to resell in music class, and the gatherings she had at her house in high school. During our 50th class reunion, she spoke fondly of her family! My condolences are sent to her family for this unfortunate tragedy! Rest in peace Nancy!

My sincere regards and prayers to Nancy´s family. I´m sure she is in the arms of Jesus. I´m a nurse and was at her side on the street. My granddaughter offered her Mass that afternoon and I prayed for her. God bless you all and May Jesus surround all of you. Nancy had kind caring eyes; I´ll never forget them. Linda Jean´ne West RN
