Nancy McGuire, nee Lovelette, age 87, went to be with her Lord on December 17, 2025. Nancy was a devoted wife to her husband, Dennis McGuire, for 69 years. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1956. They raised their family in south Minneapolis and after her husband retired, they moved to Cable, WI and lived there for 20 years. They moved back to Minneapolis in 2016 and presently live at Nokomis Square Co-op. Nancy was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Nancy's greatest passion was sharing her faith and telling others about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her life was a testimony of grace and devotion and she touched countless lives through her words and actions.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother Donald and Betty Lovelette.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis McGuire; her two brothers John and Don Lovelette; children, Ken (Cindy) McGuire, Chris McGuire, Denise (Charlie) Ostlund, Shannon (Peter) Schroeder, Sean (Nicole) McGuire, Meredith (John) Huspeni; and her 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who will continue to honor her legacy.

Services to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at Trinity Lutheran of Minnehaha Falls, 5212 41st Avenue South, Minneapolis, on Saturday, January 10th.

• Visitation: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

• Memorial Service: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Memorials may be directed to Pacific Garden Mission or Trinity Lutheran of Minnehaha Falls/Missions.
