NANCY ANN MERRICK

Nancy Ann Merrick, born December 17, 1952, in California, passed away on January 30, 2026, in Downey, California. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

Nancy was a dedicated nurse whose life’s work was defined by compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the care and well-being of others. Through her vocation, she touched countless lives and made a lasting difference. Beyond her professional career, Nancy found great fulfillment in spending time with her family and friends, as well as in gardening, crafting, and baking. She was a constant source of love, guidance, and support. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. 

Nancy will be remembered for her compassion, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of others. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Merrick and her children, David Merrick and Sarah Granger.

A celebration of life will be held on March 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10727 Downey Ave, Downey, CA 90241. A reception will follow directly after the service at the Rio Hondo Golf Course at 10627 Old River School Rd, Downey, CA 90241. 

Due to the Lenten season, flowers are not permitted in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in the name of Nancy Merrick may be donated to Downey, CA 90241.
