Nancy Mikesch Obituary
I believe she would want us to think of this poem at this time:
Do not stand
By my grave, and weep.
I am not there,
I do not sleep-
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning's hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand
By my grave, and cry-
I am not there,
I did not die.
In Christ, Nancy has joined the people who have gone before her: her husband. Lawrence William Mikesch, her father, Robert William Benbow. Sr., her grandfathers Alfred Stather Benbow and Hugh Fulton and her grandmothers Nanette Benbow (Baur) and Leona Florence Fulton (Mahon).
She was loved and will be remembered.
A private service was held.
