Nancy C. Mills, age 76, of Madison (formerly of Ripon), WI, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
Nancy was born on September 18, 1948 in Fond du Lac, WI, daughter of Joe and Bernice (Schultz) Mills. She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to work as a nursing assistant at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon for many years. Nancy was a lifetime member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and moved to Madison in 2017. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Nancy was very active at Oakwood Village where she lived in Madison, and enjoyed visiting with her neighbors. She cherished time with her family and loved it when her great-nieces would visit.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Dolores Dupont of Long Beach, MS; niece, Jessica (Gabe Rutledge) Dupont of Gautier, MS; nephew, Joshua (Francie Phelps) Dupont of Madison, WI; and great-nieces, Ella and Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Bernice Mills; a sister, Judy Kuehn; and her brother-in-law, George Dupont.
Visitation for Nancy will be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for Nancy will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. You may view a livestream of the service at 11:30 by visiting this link LIVESTREAM. Inurnment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
