Nancy Ann Mulcare, born in Brooklyn in 1945, knew how to get things done. She demonstrated imagination in sewing, cooking, and teaching students from grade 1 through college seniors in subjects including religion, biology, and computer science.
She enjoyed reading, painting, and shopping. She wore out her Kindle, covered the walls with her art, and gathered art supplies, clothing, and kitchen gadgets.
Most of all, she loved Donald, her husband of 57 years, her children, Jennifer, Bridget, Daniel, and Patrick, and her grandchildren, Ashlynn, Elizabeth, Ian, Thomas, Drew, and Maisy. She had plenty of love left over for her great-grandson, Nolan, and her many good friends.
She left this life on December 15, 2025, after a brief illness. Please remember Nancy and her family in your prayers.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 22, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford, with everyone invited to meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Instead of sending flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in Nancy's memory. For directions and guestbook, visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
