Nancy Marie Olsen
Of Waukesha. Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 after an unexpected illness at the age of 74 years. She was born to John Douglas and Arlene Matlida (nee Alt) Hirsch on June 28, 1951 in Monroe, WI. Loving mother of Kristen (Anthony) Ludtke and proud grandmother of Addilyn, Tamsyn and Kaisyn Ludtke of Nashotah. Beloved sister of Cindy Hirsch of Waukesha. Dear step mother of John (Melanie) Olsen and their two children Lea and Garrett (Sierra) Olsen of Janesville and Kim (Barry) Bloom and their children Elizabeth, Robert and Thomas Bloom of Brookfield. She married Henry Olsen Jr. on November 16, 1985 who has preceded her in death. Survived by other relatives and many friends. Nancy graduated from Monroe High School in 1969 and went on to attend University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. She worked for AT&T for 41 years, retiring as Director of Procurement. Following her retirement, she became an active member and volunteer at the Waukesha Service Club from 2014 to the present. Nancy loved spending time with family and friends at their lake house in Fond du Lac, fishing, boating and relaxing. She found great enjoyment spending time in her kitchen cooking, hosting holiday gatherings and entertaining family and friends. Nancy had a special love for animals and loved to travel. Her greatest joy of all was being able to spend time with all of her grandchildren.
