Nancy L. Pasvantis

1941 - 2025

Nancy L. (Bocchino) Pasvantis, 83, of Penn Hills, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, surrounded by family. Mrs. Pasvantis was born Nov. 13, 1941, in Pittsburgh, to the late James Bocchino and Theresa Giordiano (Nardozzi) Bocchino and was the stepdaughter of Mauro Nardozzi. Nancy had a very happy childhood; she and all her family grew up in her grandpa's house. After graduating with a business degree from Robert Morris University, she worked at Duquesne University as a secretary, Merle Norman in cosmetics, and Revlon/CVS for over 20 years until she retired. She enjoyed reading, going to lunch with her friends, movies, the casino, and sports. Nancy loved hockey and March Madness and sometimes the Steelers. Ha! She was a member of St. Bartholomew's in Penn Hills, then St. Bernadette's. She was in the ladies guild for four years at St. Bart's, volunteered for the school PTA, and was a Girl Scout troop leader. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, George A. Pasvantis; daughters, Dana (William) Muller of Cheswick and Lisa Pasvantis of Penn Hills; grandchildren, Jackson Muller, Colby Muller, and Adam Pasvantis; her sister, Carol Ann Argentine; nephew, Louis Argentine; brother, Phillip (Marian) Nardozzi; and cousins and friends who loved her deeply. Friends received from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES LTD., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, PA 15235. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at St. Bernadette Church of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 800-227-2345.
