Nancy Lee Paulas

Nancy Lee Paulas, passed away on April 30, 2017 at Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus, where she most recently lived. She was born September 21, 1931, to Rosetta (Phillips) and John Paulas.

Nancy was a 1949 graduate of Waite High School. She was employed at Toledo Edison for 37 years. She was an active member of the Republican Party and served as Co-Chairman of The Ohio League of Young Republicans. She also served as Treasurer and first Vice President of The Lucas County Young Republicans and on the local Republican Central Committee. As a devoted member of Trinity Episcopal Church, she served as a lector, on the Altar Guild and volunteered many years at the Next to New Shop.

Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Richard and parents. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Murphy; nieces, Ruth Ann (Jack) McDermott, Jayne (Tommy) Watkins, Deborah (Margo) Ortega, Barbara (Keith) Wilson and Kimberly McKinley; 7 great-nieces and nephews; 5 great-great-nieces and nephews; and special friend, Peggy Heider.

A memorial service will be held at Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus, 2519 Seaman Rd., Toledo, on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 4 p.m. Graveside services will be private for the family at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
