Nancy's commitment to education and her community was evident in her work as a tutor for an after-school program at McKeesport Presbyterian Church, where she was a member since 1957. She provided guidance, support, and encouragement to countless children, helping them to unlock their potential and a love for learning.
An avid reader, she found adventure within the pages of countless books. Her hands were rarely still, as she loved to crochet, creating beautiful pieces. Nancy was an active member of the Aglow group, the Women's Association, and took great pleasure in the camaraderie and style of the Red Hat Society. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she served diligently as a deacon for 12 years, a role that spoke to her deep commitment to her church community.
Nancy's zest for life was evident in her love of travel. She explored new places with an open heart and an infectious enthusiasm, always ready for the next adventure. She found fun and excitement in cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
