Nancy Lee Perry

Nancy Lee Perry, age 81, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend; passed peacefully into her heavenly life on October 24, 2024. She is survived by her two children, Edward James Myers and Pamela Sue Endacott, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Nancy has been reunited in Heaven with her loving parents, devoted husband Hank Perry, and siblings Tom DeMaranville and Pat Roberts, and all the Communion of Saints. She will also be warmly welcomed by her dear friend Betty Mullins, among many others who knew and loved her. Nancy is a born-again Christian, and we are rejoicing that she is now in Heaven with our Savior.

Born in Kansas City, Kansas to Eugene and Shirely DeMaranville, Nancy spent much of her life in Des Moines, Iowa. Nancy became a military wife at an early age where she embraced her role, traveling to various locations before ultimately settling in Pensacola with her family.

While Nancy dedicated herself to being a homemaker, she also enjoyed working at the Navy Exchange during her children’s teenage years. Her passions included avid reading, collecting unique trinkets, and occasionally crafting. However, it was her love for baking and gardening that truly defined her spirit. The sweet aroma and taste of her famous cherry frosted cookies is a dessert everyone in her family can remember fondly, and a tradition that her daughter Pam has lovingly continued. Nancy also nurtured a green thumb and had a greenhouse and garden that she maintained for many years. Nancy also passed down her love of gardening and being outside to both of her children. In her later years, Nancy found joy in spending time with her family, often relaxing on the porch or enjoying a nice dip in the pool with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her brother Glenn DeMaranville (Joyce), her two children Edward James Myers and Pamela Sue Endacott (John), her eight grandchildren - Kory Myers (Lisa), Edward Myers Jr., Jessica Gilkerson (Ike), Chloe Vance (Ashton), Roman Kowalski (Tess), Gabrielle Daymond (Drew), Olivia Ellis (Lee), and Quinn Endacott - as well as her seven great-grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Bella, who brought her boundless joy.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff and team of VITAS Healthcare for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, they kindly request donations be made to VITAS Healthcare (Donation Form) or Escambia County Animal Shelter (Donate) in memory of Nancy L. Perry. Interment will be at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, FL at a later date.
