Ode to Nassrine
She came from a distant land to roam the mountains and forests of America. She discovered the wonders of New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and other countries in due time. She was later known as Nancy, mother of four children.
At last, she found the true freedom of the mountains. Her soul lives there now.
You may think that you're looking at an eagle soaring above. Look again. That's Nassrine. Nancy Phillips passed away in her sleep on October 1, 2025. Her wishes to have her soul reside in the mountains will be celebrated on August 1, 2026 at Lady of the Snow Church and Albion Basin in Alta, Utah.
