Nancy Ann Pickard

Ms. Pickard was my teacher for grades five and six at Orchard Hill Elementary. She was a gifted educator. But most importantly she encouraged us girls to be self-reliant and participate. I remember her fondly.

Nancy was so special to me. We both taught at Orchard Hill. After she retired she was the sub I always asked for. After I retired we would meet with a group of oH retirees for lunch. Also she and I both loved cats. We would send each other cards with cats on them for all the holidays. I was always interested in what was going on with her and her cats.
I am so sorry I will miss her service since I am not in town.
I will miss Nancy very much!
