Born to Dale and Joyce Strom, Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother. After graduating from high school, she dedicated her life to raising her children and supporting her family. On August 30, 1980, she married Steven Prebeck, and the couple shared many happy years together. Nancy was well-known in Cohasset for her nurturing daycare, her skillful cake decorating, and her delightful holiday wreaths. She also enjoyed cooking at Roy and Dot's, where her culinary talents were appreciated by many. Steven passed away on September 20, 2008. Family was the cornerstone of Nancy's life, and she found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. An avid fisher and cook, she loved sharing these passions with her loved ones. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Steve; daughter Kris Jensen; parents; grandson Cody Mitchell; and sister Pam Strom. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Connie (Daniel) Wilson, Jennifer Bixby (James Mayerle), Jodilynn Mason, Marijeen Prebeck (Sam Peeples), Tara (Chris) Bignall, and son, Gary Prebeck. Nancy is also survived by her brother, Greg (Terry) Strom, as well as 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to honor Nancy's life will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2025, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset, MN with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Please keep Nancy's family in your thoughts and prayers.
