Nancy Price, age 72 of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on August 3rd, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Roach and Ruth Lucille Brown (Roach), and the wife of the late Clarence Price.
Nancy was born on June 14th, 1952, in Charlotte County, Virginia. She pursued a career in Nutritional Services at Centra Health and retired after 17 years.
Nancy was a member of the Morrison Ford Baptist Church in Saxton, VA. and enjoyed reading, dancing and studying her bible.
Nancy is preceded in death by sons Paul Price and Vincent Price. Nancy is survived by her son Michael Price of Austin, Texas, and daughters Addy Price and Vernetta Farris, both of Lynchburg. Nancy is also survived by siblings Mary Paige of Lynchburg, Robert “Lenny” Roach of Lynchburg, Gracie Thompson of Lynchburg and Janice Roach of Lynchburg, Nancy is also survived by her Grandchildren Mikayla and Mika Price of Austin, Texas, Tanisha Price of England, Khiry Price of Roanoke, Briana Walters of Lynchburg, Keshawn Price of Madison Heights, Brandon Farris of Lynchburg, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
