LUCASVILLE— Nancy Ellen Puckett, 61 of Lucasville, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Rosemount Pavilion.
She was born on September 19, 1962 in Portsmouth to the late William Kenneth Spencer and Mary Ellen Smith Spencer. On April 29, 1995 she was united in marriage to Ricky Lee Puckett who preceded her in death on August 28, 2020. Surviving are her son; Jason Spencer of Lucasville; grandchildren, Gavin Spencer of South Carolina and Gaige Spencer of Minford; sister, Christy (James Conley) Miller of Lucasville; brother, William (Sharon) Spencer of McDermott; nieces, Samantha Miller of Columbus, Brandi Miller of Lucasville and Madison Miller of Lucasville; nephews, L.J. Conley of Lucasville and Dustin (Courtney) Miller of Lucasville and special aunt, Betty Jo Smith of Minford. In addition to her parents and her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her son; Anthony Shawn Spencer.
Nancy was a retired medical technician from Roxane Labs in Columbus.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Bob Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Puckett Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
