William “TJ” Wolfenbarker Jr., 47, of Wheelersburg, passed away on March 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
TJ was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on May 28, 1978. He was known for his great sense of humor and the deep love he had for his family. TJ worked for many years as a nurse and was very passionate about helping others. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Becoming “Peepaw” was one of the greatest joys of his life, and his grandchildren meant the world to him.
TJ was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillie and Alfred Miller, and Marvin Charles.
He is survived by his parents, Alice and Roy Charles. His children: Morgan Charles (Colton) of South Webster; Tyler Wolfenbarker (Kimmy) of McDermott; Nathan Wolfenbarker (Akyah) of Rosemount; Lauren Wolfenbarker, Logan Wolfenbarker, and Lillie Wolfenbarker of Lucasville; and Olivia Wolfenbarker of Greenup.
He is also survived by his brothers, Mack Wolfenbarker (Michelle) and Brent Wolfenbarker (Amy) and his best friend, Melissa Jenkins.
TJ leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Brayleigh, Aubrionna, Easton, Weston, Andrew, Myles, Briar, Rome, Freyja, and Atticus, along with many aunts, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
TJ will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his love and memories will live on through his family.
A service in honor of TJ’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th, at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville. Visitation will take place at Brant's from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. as family and friends gather to celebrate his memory and the impact he had on their lives.
