Nancy Deon Redmond, 78, of Stanberry, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Nancy was born on September 16, 1946 in Maryville, Missouri to Samuel and Wilma (Davidson) Schneider. She grew up in Barnard, Missouri where she attended and graduated from Barnard High School in 1964. She met Ronald K. Redmond and they were united in marriage on June 1, 1965 in Maryville, Missouri. Together they had two sons: Steve and Jeff. She was a member of the New Hampton Christian Church.
Nancy enjoyed quilting, sewing, and going shopping with the girls. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Wilma Schneider; brother, John Schneider; sister, Sandra Murphy; and nephew, Jesse Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband, Ron Redmond; sons, Steve Redmond and his wife Deb and Jeff Redmond; grandchildren, Lacie, Brandon, Tiffany, Ashley, Chris, and Jessica; adopted grandchildren, Roxie and Katrina; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Rena Pucket.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Roberson Funeral Home, 601 N. Alanthus, Stanberry, MO 64489. A visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences can be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
