Nancy Carol Renz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Carol Renz, 79, of Port Richey, Florida, on June 27, 2025.

Nancy was born on July 4, 1945, in Rochester, New York, to the late Caroline Bruner and Herman Slack.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Marie Newman and Deborah Carol Caldwell; and her son, Edward Clifford Renz; and her grandchildren, Amanda Carol Dean, Tyler John Caldwell, Preston Joel Newman, James Kalan Newman, Joshua Edward Renz, and Lindsey Joanne Plitt and her children. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Caroline Parker Dean, Rorey Allen Dean, Hays Tyler Caldwell, and Lawrence Joshua Renz.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edward Renz; her daughter, Teresa Jean Newman; and her son, Daniel Joel Renz.

Memorial Service will be held on August 1, 2025, at 11:00 am for those who would like to attend. It will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 9230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey, Florida 34654.

God saw you getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

So, he put his arms around you,

and whispered “Come to me”

With tearful eyes, we watched you

and saw you pass away.

Although we loved you dearly,

we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands now rest

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
