Nancy Rhea Obituary
Nancy was born in Glade Spring, VA to the late Charles and Susie Thomas Gregory. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Paul Rhea; son Frank James Rhea; and grandson Matthew James Rhea
Nancy was a devoted mother, that always put her family first. She spent her time caring for her children throughout the years while travelling in the military with her husband. Nancy enjoyed working in the yard with flowers and attended New Beginnings Church.
She survived by her children Deborah Bennett & husband Jerry, Jerry Rhea & wife Patty, and Paul Rhea & companion Yvonne; grandchildren Megan Harner & husband Derek, Derek Bennett & companion Katie Wassum, Wayne Rhea, Kristin Delp & husband Tim, Colby Rhea & wife Ashley, Jaeda Burkey, David Murph, Casey Rhea, Jamey Rhea & wife Christy, Stacy Beavers & husband Dennis, and Ashley Clayman & husband David; sisters Norma Collins & husband George, Jane Young & husband Jack, brothers Pete Gregory & wife Barbara, Jim Gregory, and Buck Gregory & wife Ann; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and a special friend Sandra & Charles Richardson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, June 6, 2022, at New Beginnings Church in Glade Spring with Pastor Jeff Wallace and Pastor Alan Umbarger officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Rose Cemetery with Paul Rhea, Derek Bennett, Ean Rhea, Eli Delp, Jamey Rhea, Wayne Rhea, & Colby Rhea serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM on Monday at the church.
