Nancy J. Rodenmeyer, nee Thompson, 70, of Valles Mines, MO, passed away October 8, 2025 at the DeGreeff Hospice House in St. Louis after a major stroke and lengthy battle with cancer. She was born November 14, 1954 in Red Bud, IL to the late Clifford L. and Evelyn P. (Vinson)Thompson.
After many years of working as a material scheduler with Spartech Polycast, Nancy was able to retire and enjoy time with her family. Nancy's pride and joy were her 2 grandsons Otto and Milo Rodenmeyer, who loved her dearly. She was thrilled about getting a granddaughter to spoil, due to arrive October 2025.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Curt J Rodenmeyer Sr; her son Curt (Amy) Rodenmeyer Jr; grandchildren Otto and Milo Rodenmeyer; siblings Tom (Shirley) Thompson, Ron Thompson, Jay (Toni) Jarvis and Mary (David) Donley; and her nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Evelyn Thompson, her step-father Charles Jarvis and brother Jim Thompson.
In leu of flowers, the family prefers your expression of sympathy to be contributed to the DeGreef Hospice House or Nancy's Grandsons, Otto and Milo's, college savings account.
