Nancy A. Rozowicz, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on January 3, 1938, in Taunton, MA and was the daughter of the late Irvin and Joan (Little) Fuller.
Nancy loved and cherished her family more than anything. She spent many years caring for and traveling the country with her children in her motorhome, hauling a trailer carrying either dirt bikes for her son or horses for her daughter. For a short time, she worked for the Albany Symphony Orchestra, utilizing her impeccable creative skills to design pamphlets and other materials for the organization. When her grandchildren and great grandchildren were born, she was an indispensable source of love and care for all of them.
Her love was so abundant and strong, she also had to share it with her community. For over three years she selflessly served as a volunteer domestic violence advocate in Saratoga Springs for local victims. She was quoted in an interview: "When you help someone or give someone the information they need to make changes for themselves, I guess that's what feels real good."
Nancy had many passions and hobbies. Tap dancing, flamenco dancing, bird feeding and watching were among the top. She took great pride in herself and her appearance, even serving as a model for a while, and refusing to ever leave the house without her lipstick and her statement jewelry pieces. She loved to decorate her living spaces with her unique style. Her iconic red Christmas tree and many frog figurines made her space truly hers. She adored anything and everything that was red or sparkly, which was a true testament to her shining personality.
She was a true animal lover and held each of her feline (Poppy, Nala) and canine (Harper) companions close to her heart. The local birds were always well fed, including the high-maintenance hummingbirds.
Nancy was the mother of Mark (Annmarie) Rozowicz, Matthew Rozowicz, Melissa (the late Vrej) Bagramian, and was predeceased by her son, Michael Rozowicz; grandmother of Christopher (Athena) Rozowicz, the late Bradley Rozowicz, Steven (Monica) Rozowicz, Brandon Rozowicz, and Alexis and Amanda Bagramian; great-grandmother of Austin and Connor Rozowicz; and sister of Derek Fuller. Nancy is also survived by her nephews Jason and Justin Fuller, and her best friend of 83 years, Connie Farrands. She was loved and cherished by all, and she will be dearly missed.
We would also like to thank Nancy's hospice nurses that kept her safe and comfortable during her final weeks.
At her wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's name to Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road,
