Nancy Russell Obituary
Springfield- Nancy Ellen Quesenberry Russell, age 82 passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. Mrs. Russell was born in Lanark, West Virginia to the late Russell and Ida Jones Quesenberry. She was retired after working in administration with Great Dane. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and researching genealogy. Mrs. Russell was a good cook and was a member of both the Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Confederacy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Johnny Quesenberry and two sisters, Pat Mendrick and Robyn Overcast,
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Queen of Springfield; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven and Lezley Lynch of OK and David Ivey of CO; one brother, Bill Montford of LA; two sisters, Alma Wagner of CA and Carol Briggs of TN; grandchildren, Alyson Lynch, Jared Lynch, Kristy Burns, Kimberly Cook, Erica Lasseter, Taylor Shuman and Mary Welch; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Green officiating.
