Ms Nancy C. Schulhofer

Nancy Schulhofer, 69 of Waynesville passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. She was born in Haywood County on January 24, 1938 to Ruth Hazel Troutman Long and the late Robert Manson Long. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Troutman Long of Waynesville; two sons, Bill Schulhofer, Jr. and his wife, Susie of Waynesville and Scotty Schulhofer and his wife, Stacey of Waynesville; two sisters, Becky Long and Peggy Powell both of Waynesville; five grandchildren, Morgan and her husband, Hunter Plemmons of Faquay Varina, NC and Sydney, Slade, Scout, and Sam Schulhofer all of Waynesville. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in the chapel of the Garrett Hillcrest Mausoleum with the Reverend Josh Walls officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 pm prior to the service at the mausoleum. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autumn Care Residence Fund, 360 Old Balsam Road, Waynesville, NC 28786 or to Hospice of Haywood County, 262 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Autumn Care Nursing Home and to Hospice of Haywood County for the wonderful care they provided for Nancy.
