Nancy C. Schweizer

Nancy Collins Schweizer, 72, of the Mary Wade Home, New Haven formerly of Branford for many years passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024. Born in Suffern, New York on December 20th, 1951, Nancy was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Bennett Collins. She was a personal caregiver assistant for many years. Nancy was a majorette in high school. She enjoyed doing ceramics and quilting. Mother of Martin J. Schweizer (Barbara Kowalski), Tracy Schweizer and William T. Schweizer (Sarah Giordano). Grandmother of Britney Wrightington and Gabriella Iaquesa. Sister of Jeff Collins and the late Cathy DiRenzo. Aunt of Michael DiRenzo (Kim Friel DiRenzo), Brian DiRenzo, her twin nieces Joanne and Nichole DiRenzo, Samuel Collins (Rachel Collins) and Charlotte Collins Reeve (Erik Reeve) Private services have been entrusted to The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven.
