Mrs. Nancy Locklar Scott, 79, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon EST Monday, November 17, 2025 at Trinity Methodist Church in Phenix City, AL with Dr. Rich Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
Mrs. Scott was born July 16, 1946 in Phenix City, AL, daughter of the late Clifton Jack Locklar and Ollie Slayton Locklar. She owned and operated a Feed & Seed store with her husband for many years. Mrs. Scott was an avid tennis player and played at Cooper Creek at least five time a week. The only thing she loved more than tennis was her family, especially the grandchildren. Mrs. Scott was a long time member of Trinity Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Earnest Daniel Adcock and James Larry Scott; as well as two brothers, Mike Locklar and Keith Locklar.
Mrs. Scott is survived by a daughter, Piper Gilley and husband Chris; two sons, Jason Adcock and wife Amanda and Jonathan Adcock and wife Ashley; three sisters, Vikki Eberle, Sherree Williamson and Janet Locklar; a brother, Wayne Locklar; nine grandchildren, as well as several extended family members and friends.
