Nancy Earl (Prior) Semeraro passed away peacefully at home in Mukilteo, WA on May 10th, 2025. She was 87 years old.
Nancy Ann Earl was born in Ilion, NY on April 23, 1938, to the late Paul Curtis Earl and Jeannette DeRosiers Earl. She graduated from Ilion High School in 1956.
Nancy Earl was predeceased by her husband Louis W. Prior in 1961.
In 1964, she married Angelo Semeraro, a Naval Officer, and began the voyages associated with being a blended Navy family of six - then eight - living in New York, Hawaii, and New Jersey. One of her favorite Navy memories was attending the world premiere in New York City of the movie "Tora, Tora,Tora!" which was filmed during their tour in Hawaii.
Following Ange's retirement from the Navy in 1972, Nancy and Ange relocated to the Pacific Northwest, settling in Edmonds, WA. After raising their children there, they moved to Mukilteo in 1994 and enjoyed an active retirement, including repeated trips to Hawaii, Oregon, California, Massachusetts, Maryland, once to Italy, and reunion visits back in New York. She was blessed with having much of her family in the Pacific Northwest while remaining closely connected to her brothers, sisters, and extended family in Upstate New York. When they were not traveling, Nancy and Ange were frequent fixtures at the Mukilteo YMCA, where she enjoyed treats and laughter with their coffee group after workouts, and at various restaurants around town. Nancy was a long-time parishioner and Guild Member at Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds and then at St. Thomas More Parish in Lynnwood.
Nancy was predeceased by Ange in 2021, just after they celebrated their 57th anniversary and son Tim in 2004. Nancy and Ange shared six children: Jeff Semeraro, Lisa (Semeraro) Powell, Tim Prior, Mary Lou (Prior) Lewis, Dave Semeraro, and Amy (Semeraro) Donegan. They also had 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Nancy will be inurned with Angelo in the US Naval Academy Columbarium.
