Nancy L. Sherry, of Green Lane, passed away on March 2, 2026 at 86 years old. Born in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (LaMont) Sherry.
Nancy was a talented seamstress whose passion for sewing shaped her career in the manufacturing industry. She worked in various factories during her time in Pennsylvania and Florida, ultimately returning to Pennsylvania to share her skills at Landis Draperies until her retirement.
During her teenage years, she had the exciting opportunity to appear on American Bandstand in Philadelphia. She had a lifelong love of dancing and also possessed a natural talent for modeling.
A devoted horse lover, she found joy in barrel racing and took pride in participating in events such as the renowned Devon Horse Show with her daughter, Donna. Her love for animals extended to her cherished cats. Nancy also eagerly embraced the beauty of the outdoors, riding horses, spending countless hours at The Pier of St. Petersburg and St. John's Bay with her brother, Lee and his partner Curt. Above all, she loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Rehak and husband, John; granddaughter, Nicole Taylor, wife of Mike; great-grandchildren, Issabella, MaKenna and Logan; great-great-grandson, Luca; and her brother, Stanley "Lee" Sherry, Jr. and life partner, Curt Beville.
She is predeceased by her husband, Airmen FC Roger Thompson; sister, Carol Donnelly; and companion, Charles Haney.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 10:30-11:30 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
