NANCY LEE SKETTLE

Nancy Lee Skettle (nee Dahn), age 94, of Fairview Park, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at her home. She was born December 18, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lester and Matilda (nee Steele) Dahn, both of whom preceded her in death. Nancy was the former wife of Anthony F. Skettle, deceased. She is survived by her loving children: Kathy (Bob) Allman, Becky (Mark) Sedlak, Tim (Lynn) Skettle; daughters-in-law: Kathy Skettle and Wendy Skettle; Nancy was the cherished grandmother of: Nicole (Jay) Tugeau, Karl (Kristen) Skettle, Genevieve (Dave) McDougal, Timothy Skettle (fiance'-Clementine Houghton), Michael (Jessica) Hojenski, Ryan (Christy) Allman, Rob Allman(Jen McIntyre), Melissa (G.T.) Blake, Miranda (Dan) King, Justine Skettle (fiance'; Brian Karavantas), Carley Skettle (fiance'- Mike Nero), and Joshua Skettle (Amy Wood); dearest great grandmother of 19 and great-great grandmother of 1 grandson; dear sister of: Bob (Phyllis) Dahn, Al (Brenda) Dahn, Eric Dahn, and Tom Brent (first wife Cheryl, deceased)(Shelly); dear Godmother of Dena King and the kindest aunt and friend to many.
Nancy was preceded in death by her precious sons: Anthony Skettle, Michael Skettle (first wife Debbie, deceased), and Patrick Skettle; her brother: David Dahn; and sisters: Linda Eichler and Sarah Nowotarski.
Nancy was a homemaker and her hobbies included crafting, making stained glass, sewing, gardening, and reading. She enjoyed her days at Queen Of The Lakes in Huron. She loved nature and animals, especially her cats Felix and Kitty Girl, and feeding the birds and deer. She truly enjoyed the simple things in life, but her legacy is the large wonderful family she left behind.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 20970 Lorain Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44126. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to The Poor Clare's Monastery, 3501 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH 44111, or the charity of the donor's choice. The Misencik Funeral Home, Avon, OH is handling arrangements.
