Nancy Lee Somerville, 78, of Parkersburg, passed away peacefully at home, January 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born June 14, 1947 in Parkersburg, a daughter to the late Ralph Ramey and Frances C. Knapp.
Nancy was a homemaker, whom she shared with her loving husband, Joseph Somerville, for 60 wonderful years. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church and enjoyed reading her bible. She was a diehard fan of Elvis Presley, and took pleasure in spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her husband, her memory will be carried in the hearts of her loved ones, including her sister, Linda Cline; brother-in-law, Michael Somerville (June); sister-in-law, Deborah Somerville; grandchildren, Morgan and Wyatt Williams; nieces, Gail Darby, Elizabeth Melton and Jeanie Bright (Bob); nephew, Mathew Gresens (Jessica); and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Dawn Rivera; sister, Patricia Joan Fraley; nieces, Deborra Nolze and Kathy McClung; nephews, Bill Fraley, Junior Cline, and Mark McClung; In-laws, Donna L. and Joseph W. Somerville; sister-in-law, Carolyn McClung; and a brothers-in-law, Steven and Dean Somerville.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. South Parkersburg with Pastor Roger Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Her family will receive friends during a visitation from 3 – 8 p.m., Thursday, January 22 and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
