Nancy A. Stanz, age 80, of Kimball, died Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Edenbrook of St. Cloud.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball with visitation one hour prior to the service. Fr. Thomas Olson will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
Nancy Ann Becker was born on June 20, 1944, to Richard and Katherine (Hennen) Becker at their home in Kimball. She grew up in Kimball and graduated with the Class of 1962 from Kimball High School. On May 4, 1968, she married the love of her life, John Stanz, at the Church of St. Anne in Kimball. Together, they started a family in Crystal, moving to Ramsey and Alexandria before settling in Kimball. Nancy dedicated over 20 years of her life to working at Bankers Systems in St. Cloud. In retirement, Nancy found immense joy and fulfillment in her role as a Foster Grandparent at Kimball Schools.
Nancy held a lifelong connection to St. Anne Catholic Church, where she received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation, and Marriage.
A woman of many talents, Nancy found joy in gardening, golfing, cooking, and canning. She treasured family activities and took pride in attending her grandchildren's events and functions. Her warm smile and caring nature will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nancy is survived by her sons, David (Chris) of Clear Lake and Rick of New Brighton; grandchildren, Alex and Zach; brother, Ron Becker of Plymouth; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Katherine Becker; husband, John Stanz; son, Kevin Stanz; and brothers, William, David, and Michael Becker.
The casket bearers will be David, Rick, Alex and Zach Stanz, Julie Mielke, and Patrick Becker. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Kimball.
