Nancy Louise Steagall, a cherished soul and beloved companion, departed this world on September 30, 2025, at the age of 78, in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on November 25, 1946, Nancy graced the lives of all who knew her with warmth, kindness, and an enduring spirit that brightened every room.
As a devoted wife to her husband, Benjamin F. Steagall, Nancy shared a deep bond that transcended the ordinary. Their journey together was filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Benjamin Steagall; her son, William (Marlana) Steagall; her granddaughters, Morgan and Mackenzie Steagall; and her brother, Bill (Sandy) Beers. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Lilian (Jones) Beers, and her brothers, Dennis Beers and Jeffery Beers.
Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her memory at the Greenwood Bible Baptist Church located at 1461 Sheek Road, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will take place on October 7, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on October 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, leading into the funeral service that will commence at 11:00 AM. Following the service, a graveside gathering will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 N Morgantown Rd, Greenwood, IN, starting at 1:30 PM.
