Nancy Ruth Stickler, 75, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones. Nancy was born January 15, 1948, to Richard Earl Collins and Judith Adair Sawyer Collins. She was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.
Nancy’s life was a testament to hard work, kindness, and a sense of humor. As a single parent, she devoted her life to caring for her children and grandchildren; working tirelessly to provide for them. Known as “Bubba” to her fellow co-workers, Nancy was admired for her perseverance, reliability, and a humorous personality people often gravitated towards. After years of hard work, she retired from Kimberly Clark.
After retirement, Nancy spent her free time decorating, shopping, making jewelry, crafting, gardening, doing yard work, and spending time with loved ones. Nancy was an incredible mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family more than they could ever know. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, often serving as a source of comfort and safety, offering sound advice, a cozy home, and a tummy full of comfort food. Her relationship with her grandchildren was very special. They will forever remember her for her strength, wisdom, independence, compassion, and her big loving, caring heart. She was unlike anyone in this world, and she will be missed dearly.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son Joshua Stickler, her brother Larry Joel Collins, her mother Judith Collins, and her father Richard Collins.
She is survived by her children Kelly Meuller and Brady Stickler. Her 5 grandchildren Amber Parkinson, Alysha Parkinson, Colton Nay, Katelyn Parkinson, and Joshua Stickler; along with her 5 great grandchildren, and her siblings Richard Steven Collins and Susan Hoskins.
