ALBANY - Nancy J. Ruede Stock, age 85, passed away on August 24, 2025, at Shaker Place. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. Ruede and Ann Gleason Ruede. Nancy was a graduate of Cathedral Academy and Mildred Elley Secretarial School. Before retiring, she was an Executive Administrative Assistant at KeyCorp and Key Bank.
She was the wife of the late Bernard R. Stock, and devoted mother of Michele A. Caroli of Kissimmee, Fla., Cheryl L. Stock of Albany, and Kimberly R. (John Wilson) Stock, of Kempner, Texas. A loving grandmother of Jonathan Caroli, Alexandra Caroli, and Celena Lathrop. Sister of the Rev. Ernest Ruede of Jacksonville, N.C., and Mary E. (Barry) Wengert, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Sister-in-law of the late Charles and Barbara Stock, of Rensselaer, N.Y. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Those wishing to remember Nancy in a special way may send a contribution to Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 S. Pearl St., Albany, 12202. Flowers would be appreciated, however her family requests no lilies due to an allergy.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., at Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, N.Y., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mater Christi Parish, 40 Hopewell St., Albany, N.Y. starting at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Our Lady Help of Christians, Glenmont, N.Y.
