While I did not work directly for or with Nancy, I did have the pleasure of being influenced by her commitment and loyalty to developing our profession. While many will miss conversations with Nancy, I believe she will live on through all those who still work with her ethics and passion inspiring the next generation. Peace and God Bless.

I worked with Dean Stoll at Suffolk University from 1996-2000. She was a huge support for the creation of the Center for Community Engagement (formerly Suffolk´s Organization for Uplifting Lives through Service). We last met in 2011 when she gave remarks for an alumni award I received from City Year. Dean Stoll left an indelible mark on Suffolk University and on everyone she knew. She was a class act. May her memory be a blessing to her loved ones.

Nancy had the vision to know that people who know one another work together better. She was the one supervisor who I had that insisted that everyone in her division get together once a month for a meeting and a social event. I left Suffolk about 20 years ago and still am in touch with some of my colleagues there. Nancy was a person who understood people and how to get them to work together. I am thankful that I got to learn from her. Rest in peace.

I considered Nancy a wonderful colleague and friend. She helped me in so many ways throughout my 25 years at the Counseling Center at Suffolk. We shared the love of crossword puzzles in addition to our shared delight in seeing students grow into their own.
I will miss her and will always appreciate her.

As a Suffolk student, it was truly an honor knowing and working closely with Dean Stoll. I always reflect on our chats and have a boundless appreciation for everything she did for me and my peers.
