Many years ago I groomed Fancy Nancy´s dogs. I must have always complimented her jewelry, and one day she said she had gotten some very good news and wanted to pay it forward. When she picked up her dogs she gave me the bracelet she was wearing. I still have it and I always think of her when I wear it.

Nancy's well-written obituary certainly describes her extraordinary Life. Nancy worked with my Mother, (Florence Friday), at Mine Safety for many years; and they shared a fun friendship, even though Nancy was much younger than my Mother. They went out to lunch frequently, and Nancy visited at our house. Nancy was very generous and kind, and her smile and personality sure lit-up any room. Her three daughters were the light and pride of her Life. I remember how she enclosed a beautiful photo of them inside of her Christmas Card every year. So pretty, and dressed so nicely. Nancy and I remained in-touch, even years after my Mother's passing. Nancy and Gene have much to be proud of. My heart aches for all of you. May each special memory shine in your hearts, and bring you peace.

Gene, this is the coolest obituary I´ve ever seen. She must have been a very fun person, wish I could have known her, and now I know why you´re always dressed so well!! I´m sure you´ll miss her terribly but take joy in all of the wonderful memories she must have left you. Prayers and hugs.

Nancy always had the most beautiful smile! She was a joy to talk to, her positive spirit shone from her sparking eyes. Our street has lost an icon. She will be missed by her neighbors and friends. I know I´ll never forget Nancy walking her 2 little white puppies past our house. Our thoughts and healing prayers go out to Gene and his loving family. Nancy - God bless you my friend. It was an honor to have known you!
