Nancy Renee Tapia Sena, passed away on December 8, 2023.
Nancy was born in Santa Rosa, NM to Tomas and Dolores Tapia on May 20, 1966. Nancy was raised in Santa Rosa, where she also attended school—graduating from Santa Rosa High School in 1984.
Nancy loved the outdoors, arrowhead hunting, gardening and landscaping, she also enjoyed crafting, listening to music, singing and dancing, however her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family. Nancy particularly enjoyed the Christmas season, where she spent her time decorating and preparing gifts for her family and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her mother: Dolores Tapia in 2020.
Nancy is survived by her children: Erika (Casey) Sledge, Josef Sena and Mark (Anjelika Campos) Sena, her father: Tomas Tapia, sister: Yolanda Tapia-Rivera, brothers: Andrew Tapia and David (Alexandria Rael) Tapia, of Tijeras, NM, her grandchildren: Aleesha Ortega (Evan Franklin), Jeremiah Huerta, Thomas Huerta, Kaydence Sledge, Kyrie Sledge, Olivia Sena and Zhavia Sena, and father of her children: Eddie Sena. Also surviving Nancy are numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will he held, Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11AM at the Ilfeld-Johnson Warehouse in Santa Rosa, NM, with Glenda Evans officiating.
Interment of cremains will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa with Mark Sena serving as Urn Bearer. Honorary Urn Bearers will include: Josef Sena, Casey Sledge, Evan Franklin, Eddie Sena, Daniel Rivera, Jeremiah and Thomas Huerta, Aleesha Ortega and Kyrie Sledge.
