PIQUA - Nancy Jeannie Teeters, 78, of Piqua, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2025, at Hospice of Miami County.
She was born on March 27, 1946, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Robert and Esther (Friend) Clark. She was a 1964 graduate from Piqua High School.
She was a devoted wife to the late Michael L. Teeters, who passed away in 2023, and a loving mother, Nana, and homemaker who dedicated her life to serving her family and the Lord.
Jeannie was a longtime member of Union Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years and joyfully served in various ministries. A gifted singer, she sang daily bringing joy to those around her with her music and faith.
A large part of Jeannie's life revolved around children's ministry. She was passionate about teaching kids about Jesus and spent many years leading church programs, organizing Bible school, and teaching Sunday School classes. Through these efforts, she touched countless young lives and ministered to many neighborhood families.
Jeannie had a deep love for her family and found joy in simple pleasures, cooking, baking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a self-employed homemaker who poured her heart into her home. Known for her warmth and kindness, she never met a stranger. Her love was felt in every interaction, whether with family or someone she just met.
Despite facing many health challenges, Jeannie never complained. She lived life to the fullest, always with gratitude in her heart. Her greatest joy was being a wife to Mike, and she spent her final years longing to be with him again. We rejoice that they are now reunited in the presence of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her children: Rhonda (Christopher) Baker, Micah (Tanya Rivera) Teeters, and Aaron R. Teeters; grandchildren: Nathan Teeters (Stephanie Wolf), Mikaela Fiehn (Kyle), Seth (Miranda Rike) Teeters, Mia Baker (Fiancé James Craft), Kalli Teeters, Gracie Baker, and Noel Baker; her brother, Larry Clark; and many other extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents: Brother, Dan Clark.
