Nancy Tillerson Obituary
Nancy C. Tillerson, age 86, the eldest daughter of M. Carter Castlebury and Thirza A. Castlebury, passed away on December 23 at UNC Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center of Apex. She is survived by her husband Phil Tillerson of Apex, her sons Scott (Donna) in Apex and Clint (Jenny) in Wendell, and her brother Phillip Castlebury (Jacquie) of Seagrove, NC. She is also survived by two grandsons, one granddaughter, and four great-grandsons. She is preceded in death by her sister Priscilla Farrell and grandson Graham Tillerson. Nancy is a graduate of Apex High School and Kings Business College. She was an accomplished artist and member of the Society of Decorative Painters. Nancy was a longtime member of Apex United Methodist Church.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Apex United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 3 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Apex United Methodist Church Forward Campaign.
