Mrs. Nancy Nora Patterson Turner, age 68, of Waco, GA, passed away September 22, 2025. She was born November 5, 1956 in Buncombe, GA to the late Elzie Oland Patterson and Faye Verna Price Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Turner; brothers and sister in law, Joe and Nell Patterson, Tony Patterson, and Mack Patterson; and brother in law, Bud Shelton.

Nancy was a member of Pleasant Hill Church and worked as a caregiver for many years. She was a talented seamstress, who could also reupholster furniture. She enjoyed painting pictures, singing, cooking, and working in her garden. She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Music.

Nancy is survived by her children and their spouses, Starla and Shane Barrett, of Waco and Keith and Lee Turner, of Williston, SC; grandchildren and their spouses, Logen and Allison Carter, Xander and Jada Carter, Mason and Brooklyn Hudson, Megan and Blake Bone, Elise and Gabe League, Brian Turner, Devin Turner, Ethan and Victoria Rowe, Ben Arrington, Brock Smith, Nick Mayo, Jason Swindle, Elijah Longacre, and Logan Bearden; great grandchildren, Rebecca Carter, Samuel Carter, Blakeleigh Bone, and Everlyn Rowe; sister, Pat Shelton, of Russellville, AL; brothers and sisters in law, Ricky and Chrissy Patterson, of Temple, GA, Stanley and Louise Patterson, of Piedmont, AL, Karron Patterson, of Bremen, GA, and Faye Patterson, of Tallapoosa, GA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at 2:00PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Pastor Jamey Alexander officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Logen Carter, Xander Carter, Mason Hudson, Logan Bearden, Ben Arrington, Elijah Longacre, Ethan Rowe, Cornrbead, and Jason Swindle. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 to 9:00PM.

Nancy's family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the funeral home to help offset the expenses. Donations may be made to the funeral home in person, via phone, or on our website through the Services Tab and Payment Center.
