Nancy Loretta Ussery

Nancy Loretta Ussery, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ronny Raines officiating. Nancy's family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Nancy entered into this life on September 18, 1938 in Clarksville to the late Otha Kingins Fuqua, Jr. and Julia Harris Fuqua. She was a 1956 graduate of Clarksville High School and received her degree in Business Education from Austin Peay State College in 1960. Married to David for 61 years, Nancy proudly raised her children, engaged in the communities in which she lived, and supported her husband as a military spouse. Her grandchildren were her source of joy. She was a member of the church family at First Baptist Church, Clarksville. She will be laid to rest at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her loving husband, David Lawrence Ussery, CDR USN (Ret), her daughters, Dr. Loretta Griffy (husband, Steve) and Elizabeth Sawyer (husband, Pat), grandchildren, Susan Conner and Sawyer Griffy, her sister, Ann Moseley-Wood (husband, Don), her niece, Andrea Moseley, her nephew, Carlton Moseley, and great-nieces Carlie Moseley and Miles Lundeen-Moseley.
