Nancy Veld Obituary
Nancy Louise Veld died Saturday, August 5, 2023, at her home. She was born July 23, 1954, in Kalamazoo, MI, daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy (Davidson) Griner and had been a lifelong area resident.
Nancy worked for Graphic Packaging for nearly 51 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family when she wasn't working. Nancy was an avid lotto player. She always had to be sure to make it to the store to play her numbers. She enjoyed listening to her vinyl records and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.
On April 18, 1977, Nancy married the love of her life, Jerry Veld who preceded her in death on October 1, 2019. Nancy is survived by her children, Terry Veld, Tim (Jessica Ann) Veld, and Annie Veld; a grandson, Ian Veld; daughter-in-law, Jessica Lynn Veld; siblings, David Griner, Sandy (Joe) Hnilo, Judy (Phil) Foster, and Tom (Kara) Griner; several nieces and nephews; and special fur kid, Cricket.
Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's name to the SPCA of Southwest Michigan.
