Nancy Wagner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jobe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.-Plum Chapel - Monroeville on Dec. 31, 2025.
Nancy Marie (Burkhart) Wagner, age 84, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday December 30, 2025. She was born on December 3, 1941, in Penn Hills, the daughter of the late Mervin D. Burkhart and Catherine G. (Wilson) Burkhart.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Diane (Remai) Olson; as well as seven brothers; and two sisters whom she missed dearly.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Wagner, husband of 47 years; her loving children, Paul (Lorrie) Remai, Steve (Donna) Remai, and Michelle (Ron) Waros; four stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom were the joy of her life.

Nancy adored and was deeply devoted to her family, children and grandkids. She was also a huge dog lover and found constant companionship and comfort in her dog, Apollo.

For more than 20 years, Nancy proudly worked as a school bus driver, a role she truly cherished. She was known for her kindness, patience, and the special care she gave to her "precious cargo," treating every child as if they were her own.

Nancy will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering dedication to her family, and the quiet but meaningful impact she made on so many. Her guidance and constant care will be deeply missed by her family, and she will forever be held in the hearts of those who loved her.

At Nancy's request, there will be no public visitation or services. Entrusted with arrangements is Jobe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (Monroeville/Plum Chapel) 445 Beatty Rd., Monroeville PA (412-856-4747).
