Nancy Wagner Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 8, 2026.
Canfield – Nancy Lee Wagner, 76, of Canfield peacefully passed away Friday morning, January 2, 2026.

Nancy was born on November 19, 1949, in Cleveland, a daughter of Francis (Frank) Picarski and Katherine Kalasoski. A Parma High School graduate, she married her husband Neal Wagner on February 10th, 1968.

Nancy was a devoted servant of Jesus and a member of Paradise United Church of Christ. Nancy's faith was her guiding light, and following the example of her Savior, she epitomized selflessness and unconditional love, especially in her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a source of strength, comfort, and humor for her family and will be remembered for her exceptional generosity and the kindness she so effortlessly radiated.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her husband of 57 years, Neal, her sons Scott and Steven Wagner, grandchildren Marissa (Gryphon) Johnson and Mariah Cashbaugh, sister Venita (Michael) Wyatt, and nephew Richard W. Zidonis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Picarkski, and loving daughter Shelly Marie (Wagner) Cashbaugh.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Nancy this spring at Paradise United Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's honor to the Alzheimer's Association online at alz.org or by mail to 320 Nevada St. Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.

The Wagner family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
