Nancy I. Ward 66, passed from this life January 31, 2026, at Chillicothe Post Acute. She was born January 30, 1960, in Buchanan County, VA to the late Delford and Elsa Madeline (Cantrell) Ward.
She is survived by her honorary parents Jean and Jr. Colburn; honorary sisters Cheryl Fields and Shelly Flint; God daughter Ashley; grandchildren Dominic, Destiny, Maddison, Jackson, Ryder and Thalia.
Nancy graduated Grundy High School in 1977. She went on to get her master’s degree in social work. She was employed at Kent Center and ARC in Chestertown, MD. She moved to Chillicothe, OH in 2014 then went to work for the Pioneer Center in Chillicothe. She loved serving the Lord when able she attended Maple Grove Christian Union Church.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
