Nancy Weems

Nancy Louise Weems, 90, of Corsicana, Texas passed from this life peacefully on August 10, 2023. She was born in Corsicana on January 12, 1933 to Marshall and Anita Weems. Nancy graduated from Corsicana High School and continued her education at Navarro Junior College where she served on the Historical Society. She was also a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club along with the Genealogical Society. Nancy worked at the State National Bank for 42 years. She was also a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.
Nancy was preceded in heaven by her parents, Marshall and Anita Weems, and her sister Janie Posey. She is survived by her sister, Marsha Grippe, her brother, Chuck Weems, along with many nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers are Andy Cox, Randy Cox, Roger DeMoss, Zane DeMoss, Evan DeMoss, Andy Kight, Cody Molock, and Darrell Posey.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, at 1:00, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
