Nancy Carole Williams (Calhoun)
Nancy Carole Williams (Calhoun) was born on December 10, 1936, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away on December 18, 2025, in Bluewater, New Mexico. Nancy's early years were spent in Phoenix, where she graduated from North High School on May 28, 1955, and married her husband, Franklin, the following weekend. Nancy and Franklin spent most of the next 69 years in the Grants area, with the exception of the 21 years they served as Southern Baptist missionaries in Cubero, NM. Nancy loved her church families and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Grants, New Mexico, where she regularly taught Sunday School and Awana. At the time of her death, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Nancy was known for her hospitable spirit and selflessness. She is preceded in death by her husband and her sisters, Jewel Dean Liles and Francis Lea Ford. She is survived by her four children: Russell Williams, Tony Williams (Jane), Janice Allen (Danny), and Dale Williams (Randa). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
