Nancy Montgomery Williams was born on July 10, 1931 to parents Earl and Bernice Montgomery of Bastrop, Louisiana. Nancy passed away peacefully surrounded by love in Covington, Louisiana on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 7, 2026 at St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe. Deacon Tim Cotita will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paschal Cemetery, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.

Nancy grew up in Springhill, Louisiana with her brothers, Jack and Earl Sims and sisters, June and Earlene. Many joyful memories remained in Nancy's heart from this time. After graduation from Springhill High School, she studied Nursing at Northwestern State College in Natchitoches, Louisiana. There she met Jim, her future husband, in an English class. They were married in 1951 and were blessed with a joyous marriage of 72 years together.

Nancy spent most of her career as the Operating Room Head Nurse at Glenwood Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana. Her dedication contributed to the excellence of the Glenwood Surgery Department. Many of the staff became and remained dear friends for life.

Nancy and Jim enjoyed boating and skiing on the Ouachita River with their children and friends. They hand many good times on the sandy river beaches. They became part of the in crowd and enjoyed together with friends dance and social clubs.

Nancy is survived by her four children, James Ray Williams Jr. and wife Mary Catherine, Charles Edward Williams and wife Gina, Lynda Ann Williams, Alisa Davis and husband Stuart; granddaughters, Christin Stoufflet and husband Brennen, Hannah Davis and Sarah Davis. She is also blessed with three great grandchildren, Addison, Cason and Perrin Stoufflet.

Honoring Nancy as pallbearers are Jimmy Williams, Eddie Williams, Brennen Stoufflet, Cason Stoufflet, Perris Stoufflet, Tony Duplichin and Skip Davis.

We all love you forever Nancy, job well done.
