Nancy was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Saginaw, Michigan, for many years prior to moving to Ann Arbor, where she was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
Nancy was an executive secretary at General Motors for over 30 years. In retirement, she lovingly dedicated her time to her family, especially caring for Howard (Windy). Nancy's greatest joy was her faith in Jesus Christ, and the comfort of knowing her eternal future was secure because of Him. Her mission in life was to support, love, and encourage her family with unending dedication. She was a gifted seamstress, creating many meaningful gifts and remembrances for her family, loved ones, and her church.
Nancy is survived by her two children and spouses, Dr. David Wintermeyer (Grace) and Dr. Susan Wintermeyer-Pingel (Ken), and four grandchildren, Anne, Joel, Alicia, and Christopher, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her sister, Sally Kluck, and her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Marian Sorgatz. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ruth Sorgatz, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Delores and Arthur Sowatsky, brother-in-law, Gerlad Kluck, and Baby Pingel.

Nancy will always be remembered for her planning, organization, love for her faith family, and love of cardinals. Her favorite bible verses were taken from Romans 5: 1-5, "In life we suffer, we persevere, we hope, our hope is realized. We have eternal peace with God in Heaven through our Lord Jesus Christ."
The family would like to thank the staff of the Redies Rehabilitation Center at the Saline Evangelical Home for their compassion and kindness while caring for Nancy.
